INTL 201 Term PaperFALL SEMESTER 2009-10 Topic: Would IR operate differently if most leaders of states were women? STUDENT NAME: SIMON BENJAMIN OLISAKWE STUDENT No: 089785 GROUP No: 01

INTRODOCTION The world has been ruled by the male sex since the beginning of civilization, and it has suffered certain major calamities like; slavery and slave trade, colonialism and imperialism, regional wars and World wars I & II, and the cold war which could have been the first nuclear war in the Cuban missile Crisis. All these were achievements of the Patriarchal rule. Today many people have researched and found out that most prehistoric communities like Egypt Mesopotamia and Greece, to name a few were Matrilineal.

Yes! IR will operate differently if most leaders of states were women? :

Yes! IR will operate differently if most leaders of states were women? This Matriarchal lineage is one in which we see honoured women and deities like Mary mother of Jesus form Israel, Athena goddess of the Greek myth, Cleopatra of Egypt from Macedonia etc. all of whom we all know that nobody in the world today is like The big talk today for most women is that they can make the world a better place for everyone, I say there is a hidden pro-female agenda behind this quest, ‘they want to make the world a better place for women’. IR will operate differently but my opinion is that the difference will be BAD… NOT GOOD!!!

Slide 4:

Feminists have different motives; that they don’t want to be ‘left behind’ and ‘not be dumped on/marginalised is one thing which I support, but, having them lead the world, like, the woman being the head of the family, over the man is a thing of pre-history which we have learned from and we do not want to take the world back into. Female rule that we have seen so far in Chile, Liberia and Germany has not been quite as productive as Feminists who plan to change the world say it would be.

Slide 5:

But the feminist confidence of thinking that female rule can solve all the world's problems could last for a very short while before they forget their mission. There was Britain's "Iron Lady" Margaret Thatcher, Israel's Golda Meir, India's Indira Gandhi, Sri Lanka's Sirimavo Bandaranaike and Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan. None was noted for advancing the feminist cause even as they were examples of feminist rule* .The general reason why people think that women can promote world peace is their value for life because they know what maternity is all about and they care, but they promote abortion rights everywhere and for any reason which means they also promote death and life destruction

Slide 6:

Britain’s Margaret Thatcher took her to war even in a point in time when Britain was not really ready for a war. This irrational decision was nothing different to male rule and is nothing like value for life too. Most if not all of these female leaders listed above conduct their rule emulating men. The ‘Iron Lady’ is a clear example here again. It would be pointless giving power to the female sex when all they will do is emulate the males
