Nazi Experiments By: Marco Cruz

Experiments :

Experiments Very Cruel and unethical , anyone could be experiment on man woman or child The experiments usually resulted in premature death for the victims The purpose of their experiments varied from caring hypothermia to finding a quick way to sterilize a population All of their experiment disregarded human life as important.

Josef Mengele :

Josef Mengele Nazi experimenter Considered by many to be one of Germany's top scientists Was nicknamed the “Angel of Death” Enjoyed experimenting on twins, dwarfs, and others he would consider special . Was the Head of many experiments.

Hypothermia Experiment :

Hypothermia Experiment It was used to find a way to cure and prevent hypothermia for the German Soldiers. The experiment consisted of two parts first freezing the victim then defrosting the victim They would first strip the person down then put them into below freezing water and study how long it took them to die. After phase one was complete they would put a person into freezing water right before they would die and study ways to warm them. One of these ways was to use sun lamps that were so hot their skin would burn. Another way was hot bath which meant placing the victim into a hot bath and slowly raising the temp., if they were heat to rapidly they would die.

Sterilization Experiment :

Sterilization Experiment Was to find a easy way to mass sterilize German conquered countries They did not know what would work and try many different methods One was using x-rays machines aimed the sexual-organs for an extended period of time Another ways was to inject the womb with many different substance that would sterilize them but caused intense pain and burning. They found that surgical castration would work the best

Twin Experiment :

Twin Experiment Most known twin experiment was done on two Hungarian twins in 1943. It started at with measuring every detail of the twins body and then carefully observing there behavior. After that they were strapped down on a steel table and had tubes shoveled down their throat and nose to see if their lungs were good. Then they were completely shaved and photographed to see their hair growth patterns. Then a gastric intestinal examining was preformed on them without anesthesia which caused them to scream so loudly that Dr. Josef had them gagged. After a few weeks of more humiliating test, they both received a injection to their hearth killing them. After this they were dissected and their organs were examined

Test :

Test Most of these test were done at the Auschwitz concentration camp If anyone survived their experiment and consider unfit to work they were put in to a gas chamber Some people were unlucky enough to experience two experiment before dying After World War 2 the doctors captured by the Allied were put on trial for inhumane experiments without consent
