Move Your Body : Get up and go for a walk Do some exercise Bounce Do something that involves no mind power Eg: Filing Papers Ironing 1. Move Your Body 2. Shower : Cold or Hot Throw Some Water on Your Face 2. Shower 3. Read Something Inspirational : Autobiographies 3. Read Something Inspirational 4. Review Your Goals : Long Term Goals Daily or Weekly Goals 4. Review Your Goals 5. Look at the Consequences of NOT doing what you said you would : Will you get fat? Will you fail to reach your income goal? Who will you let down as a result of your laziness? What will you have to continue to put up with that you don’t want to? What will you miss out on? 5. Look at the Consequences of NOT doing what you said you would 6. Pick Up The Phone : Note: Pick up the phone and call someone, not email. By talking to someone we are forced to breathe differently and think differently Short conversation = great “State Changer” 6. Pick Up The Phone 7. Take Some Deep Breaths : Go outside if possible and take 10 deep breaths. Bound to change your state 7. Take Some Deep Breaths 8. Do Something Fun : Use the time when you’re feeling bored and lazy to inject some fun into your life. Lots of I.T. companies for example such as Google have installed video games and the like which staff can play for a short while. 8. Do Something Fun 9. Listen to Music : One of my personal favourites Less than 10 minutes is enoughsnap me out of my laziness 9. Listen to Music 10. Visualise and Dream : Stop focusing on how “difficult” things are Visualise exactly what I want out of life. Immediate change in focus 10.
