Coverage/Scope of the Training Programs Lectures, sharing experience, videos, slides Training materials received from other centers Syllabus andamp; training materials by consultants, lecturers from organizations such as ADB, ESCAP, SIAP andamp; staff of NSO UN/international reference materials are used English and local language depends on participants Practical exercises included in most programs Attendance checked strictly Participants are graded

On Participants : 

On Participants Junior staff of NSO, other government agencies, atoll office staff, island office staff Academic qualifications depends on the course contents Practical experience and academic qualification are considered

On Lecturers: 

On Lecturers A diploma or a degree holder with 5 or more years of practical experience at a higher level Qualification and experience in statistics and teaching Generally from statistical office

On Evaluation: 

On Evaluation Training programs are evaluated by participants Lecturers are evaluated Head of the training unit and head of NSO prepare the evaluation forms Possible changes are brought according to the evaluation
