WHAT IS CULTURE? Edward Tylor: culture is that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, custom and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of the society.

CHARACTERISTICS OF CULTURE : 

CHARACTERISTICS OF CULTURE Culture is shared (member vs outsider) -> people of the same culture can predict, within limits, how others will think and behave -> explain cross-cultural misunderstanding caused when we step outside out familiar cultural setting where meanings are not shared with other people.
