Criminal Record Checks Offers of employment are subject to a criminal record check. All of the information you provide to Michelin will remain confidential. Procedures to complete criminal records check may vary from community-to-community. Check with your local police detachment for details. 1. At Step 4 of the application process, a criminal record check will be required. To complete this check, visit your local police station or RCMP detachment to obtain a form. By filling out this form, you are consenting to the check. Be sure to take two pieces of identification, including one piece of photo identification. In some areas you may need to have your fingerprints taken. 2. A small fee may be required before the check can be completed. Fees will vary, but you can expect to pay between $15-$25 + HST. 3. Your completed criminal record check will return a result of either record exists or record does not Exist. This information will ONLY be released to you. 4. Return the completed criminal record check to your interviewer. Depending on the result of the check, you may be asked to provide additional information. Medical Assessment Michelin conducts medicals to help assess if employees are physically capable of working safely. All Michelin medical assessments are conducted on site by a staff nurse & doctor The assessment is composed of several non-invasive tests including hearing, breathing, & vision. You will also be asked to complete a health questionnaire You can be assured that your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than to determine your physical suitability for work All information collected during your medical assessment is confidential
