The Mode of my data is Language Arts and gym.I counted in from the sides. There is no Median, Mean, or Range. That is because that categorical data don’t have a specific order.What’s your favorite kind of movie?: What’s your favorite kind of movie? Mode=comedy I looked at the tallest bar and that was comedy so comedy is the mode Mean and median you cant do because you need numbers and this is categorical and not numerical The typical students favorite kind of movie is comedy Favorite Colors: Favorite Colors I fount the mode it is Blue because has most often data shown in the columns. I fount the median is pink it is the middle data shown. Blue is typical because if a person walked through the door I can determined that blue is the typical. Mode:20 Median:20 Mean:9.7 Range:0-32 I got the mode by seeing what the most common digit was. I found the mean by adding all of the number together then divide by 20. I got the range by seeing were the data starts and stops. I found the median by laying out all the data in order, and crossing out the numbers until I came to 20. The typical number of video games of people I surveyed was 20. Twenty is also the mode and the median. Slide13: On this graph the median is two. The range is one-five. The mode is two. The mean is 7. I found the mode by looking and checking which graph is the highest. I found the median by counting down from each row. I found the mean by adding all the graphs up and dividing by 5. If a new student walked trough the door I would guess he would have one or two computers because on the chart most kids have one or two computers.
