Slide2:
Peter and Caitlin's classes focus on solid lead/follow technique as the road to finding your own unique style. Ultimately, Peter & Caitlin share their love of Lindy Hop, helping students enjoy the dance on a deeper level, becoming more connected to the music and their partner.
Peter Strom (www.lindymovement.com) has been teaching all over the country at national camps such as Lindy U, the Great Southwest Lindyfest, Swing Out New Hampshire and Beantown, as well as in Europe, in Sweden, Singapore, and the Montpellier Swing Festival in France. He has won such titles as American Lindy Hop Champion in 2000, 2001 and 2003; North Atlantic Dance Champion in 2002 and 2003 , and New York Lindy Hop Open Champion in 2003. His humor and insight help students understand their own dance style better.
Caitlin George, now living in Toronto, Canada, was a founding member of Minnie's Moochers, the prize winning performance troupe from Ithaca, NY. Caitlin has won over 28 awards in Lindy Hop competitions in Strictly Lindy, Champion Jack-n-Jill, Advanced Just Dance Lindy, & American Showcase Divisions including 1st Place wins at: Boogie by the Bay 2004, American Lindy Hop Championship 2004, 2003, 2001, 1999, 1998, North Atlantic Dance Championship 2002 & 2000, and the Boston Tea Party 2003.
