THE FRIENDS OF THE FUND (2) ONE GOAL : FIGHTING AGAINST THE THREE EPIDEMICS BUT independent organizations each one has its own Board of Directors each organization determines its own priorities self-reliant in attracting its operating funds

THE FRIENDS OF THE FUND (3) ROLES: -advocate -broker -enabler SCOPE OF ACTIONS: - cash and in-kind contributions - advocacy, events and press campaign - private / public partnerships and co-investments

THE FRIENDS OF THE FUND (4) CLOSELY INVOLVED IN THE GLOBAL FUND ACTIVITIES OBSERVERS TO THE BOARD OF THE FUND

Friends of the Global Fund JAPAN: 

Friends of the Global Fund JAPAN Created in June 2004 Works with head government, NGOs, political leaders, companies, academics and other opinion leaders AWARENESS -ADVOCACY JAPAN and other countries particularly in Asia

US Friends of the global Fight: 

US Friends of the global Fight Created in June 2004 Working closely with -the members of the US Congress -decision-makers -opinion leaders -NGOs, companies, academics ADVOCACY - CASH CONTRIBUTIONS - PARTNERSHIPS

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (1): 

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (1) Mobilise European Institutions, public opinion and companies : - in favour of the fight against AIDS –TB - Malaria - in favour of the Global Fund

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (2) INFORMATION AND MOBILISATION: 

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (2) INFORMATION AND MOBILISATION To raise knowledge about these epidemics and their impacts among the civil society and state actors, regarding the needs of the Global Fund. To inform, to mobilise European public opinion about the Global Fund’s missions and actions

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (3) ADVOCACY: 

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (3) ADVOCACY To promote, to encourage and to follow-up commitments made by the European public authorities in support to the malaria/ AIDS/TB’s fight .

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (4) PRIVATE/ PUBLIC PARTNERSHIPS: 

THE FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND EUROPE (4) PRIVATE/ PUBLIC PARTNERSHIPS To encourage the development of the public-private partnership To increase awareness in the industrial and commercial sectors To encourage co-investment contributions
