Slide 1:July 16, 2009 THE BREWERY

Slide 2:BRAND VOLUME UPDATE Since getting Narragansett Beer back in 2005, the brand has enjoyed a tremendous comeback with limited availability. Sales accelerated at the end of 2008 and have continued to do so in the first half of 2009.

Slide 3:Our story is beginning to spread throughout New England and to awesome locations like Fenway Park. BRAND VOLUME UPDATE NOW IS THE TIME TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF BRINGING THE BREWERY BACK TO NEW ENGLAND!

Slide 4:THE BREWERY CAMPAIGN DRINK YOUR PART! You buy a case, we build a brewery.

Slide 5:THE BREWERY CAMPAIGN ’Gansett has always been for New Englanders. That’s why in these especially troubling times, we want to build a brand new brewery in the heart of New England. The brewery would provide a slew of new jobs and help stimulate new England’s economy. We need to sell 7.5 million cases of beer a year to be able to make it all happen. And to do that, we need you! So please sign our petition, buy our beer and help us restore Narragansett to its rightful place in New England. Every case counts!

Slide 6:The brewery once made over 25 million cases of beer each year and employed hundreds to do so. To rebuild the brewery, with canning and bottling lines and draft kegging lines, we need to sell at least 7.5 million cases a year again.

Slide 7:That’s a lot of beer, but it’s only one case per year for every drinking New Englander - that’s nothing! We can do this if everyone drinks their part. HOW DO WE GET THERE?

Slide 8:7.5 MILLION PEOPLE DRINK There are 7.5 M New Englanders who drink beer: slightly more than half of the population. If everyone drinks just one case of ’Gansett a year, we can rebuild the brewery.

Slide 9:7.5 MILLION PEOPLE DRINK We’re probably not going to get a case out of everyone, but that’s ok, we’ve got plenty of people who drink more than a case of ’Gansett a year. WE CAN DO THIS! WE’RE ALREADY A THIRD OF THE WAY TO OUR GOAL IN RI!

Slide 10:NEED TO MAKE AVAILABLE! There are over 20,000 bars, restaurants, packies, grocery stores and convenience stores in New England that sell beer. Narragansett Beer is currently available in only 9% of these accounts.

Slide 11:NEED TO MAKE AVAILABLE! We need to engage these retailers so that ’Gansett fans all over New England can buy their beer. Beer drinkers can help- go into your local bar or packie and DEMAND ’Gansett! WE CAN DO THIS! WE’RE HALFWAY THERE IN RI!

Slide 12:WHEN DO WE START? We began the campaign in early May 2009 and have already collected over 5,000 signatures. In June, we kicked off the DRINK YOUR PART campaign officially with a speech by Mark to the RI State Assembly, followed by brewery rallies: · June 18 Providence · July 2 Boston · July 9 Worcester

Slide 13:WHEN DO WE START? In July, we will form our blue ribbon committee of local leaders committed to bringing the brewery back to New England.

Slide 14:THE COMMITTEE’S TASKS SITE LOCATION Cranston RI was the home of the Narragansett Brewery for almost 100 years. And while Cranston and Providence are strong contenders for the next brewery, serious consideration will be given to any municipality that lends strong financial support; has abundant clean water; and appreciates the significance of this endeavor.

Slide 15:THE COMMITTEE’S TASKS CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT This isn’t just another brewery, this is the Narragansett brewery, complete with over 100 years of history and the re-establishment of the 1890 Room. What happens in the 1890 Room? Time will tell…

Slide 16:THE COMMITTEE’S TASKS BREWERY CONSTRUCTION While we need to sell at least 7.5 million cases per year to rebuild the old brewery, we believe that it is possible to start sooner with something smaller, like just draft beer to start. We will work with our Brewmaster and architects in an attempt to design a sustainable brewery that we can grow with.

Slide 17:Check back often for updates!
