Blindness knows no borders Upgraded 325 eye centers with equipment Provided management training for 109 facilities Trained 305,000 ophthalmologists, ophthalmic nurses, other professional eye-care workers and village health workers Launched world’s first global initiative to combat childhood blindness

The Power of Pledging – MJFs Save Sight: 

The Power of Pledging – MJFs Save Sight If an individual pledges one MJF (US$1,000) or more, it can be paid over a three-to-five year period. US$6 saves someone’s sight. US$1,000 – one MJF – saves the sight of 167 people. All gifts to CSFII are Melvin Jones eligible.

Great Success: Model Clubs: 

Great Success: Model Clubs 1,356 Model Clubs raised nearly US$30 million in cash and pledges Commitment Enthusiasm High goals 55 clubs in ISAAME 1,546 Lions raised US$1,009,819 to date in cash and pledges (US$653 per-member average)
