I see creativity in these faces. My kids are probably most inspirational to me in terms of creativity. They are forever doing, saying and planning things that show creativity.Here is my daughter, Maya, receiving an award for Student of the Month: Here is my daughter, Maya, receiving an award for Student of the Month Maya has been identified as Gifted and is in the Van Guard program at our school. She is always coming up with new and creative ways of looking at her world, often to our amazement. On the other hand…..My son, Tristan, at NASCAR this past weekend.: My son, Tristan, at NASCAR this past weekend. Tristan has not been identified as Gifted and remains in a mainstream classroom, where he struggles with academics. However, Tristan has a way of thinking and puttingthings together that. to me, shows creativity. He loves cars and anything car-related, so this day was a dream come true for him!What is Creativity?: What is Creativity? The actual definition of creativity is: the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc; originality, progressiveness, or imagination. I will be making it into a poster to display in the classroom.
