Nouns – are called naming words. - they are the names of people, animals, places and things. There are 2 main classes of nouns:- Common Nouns – not capitalized Proper Nouns - capitalized

COMMON NOUNS : 

COMMON NOUNS Common Nouns – refer to any class or group of persons, places or things. E.g :- boy, girl, house, school Why are these things are known as common nouns ? Because they are found everywhere in the world.

CONCRETE NOUNS : 

CONCRETE NOUNS Concrete Nouns – refer to objects and substances that exist in a physical sense. - anything that can be seen, heard, tasted, smelled, or felt by the body. E.g.: scenery, noise, sour, cold.

COLLECTIVE NOUNS Collective Nouns – is the name of a number of persons, animals or things grouped together and spoken of as one whole. Eg : - a swarm of bees, a crowd of people, a bunch of keys.
