Using Answers to Study : 

Using Answers to Study Having the answer to the problems you are having trouble on may help you figure out how to solve the problem. One example of how this works is if the problem is asking for the derivative, you can take the answer in the back of the book and take the integral of it.

Worksheets are your friend! : 

Worksheets are your friend! Taking advantage of the worksheets is very beneficial. Work out the problems and if you find that you are having difficulties, check out the videos on how to solve them. The problems are usually written in order of increasing difficulty so often times figuring out a small step you are missing in earlier problems will help you solve the more difficult ones.

Utilizing This Technique : 

Utilizing This Technique One problem many students have with reworking problems is that they rework the problem right after studying how to do it. This gives the student a false sense of security because they have a fresh picture in their mind of how to do the problem. To truly gauge yourself on how well you can solve a problem, give yourself around a day or so after reviewing the problem before you attempt it again.

How Long Will This Take? : 

How Long Will This Take? The time spent reworking old problems varies greatly based on the type of problem. Generally you will want to allow at least the same amount of time you spent on the original problem on the one you are reworking, plus time to figure out what you did wrong. Usually it will take less time because you will have experienced it before and will also have a better idea of what to do.
