Mario Mario is of course the main character in the M ario games. He has appeared in over 200, but his first appearance was in Donkey Kong, 1981.
Peach:
Peach Peach is the princess of the mushroom kingdom. Her first game appearance was in Super Mario Bros., 1985.
Bowser:
Bowser Bowser is the villain of all Mario games. His first appearance was in Super Mario Bros., 1985. In the games, Bowser usually captures Princess Peach.
Luigi:
Luigi Luigi is Mario’s sidekick and also his brother. His first appearance was in Mario Bros., 1983. Instead of being red like Mario, he is green.
Wario:
Wario Wario is another person against Mario. In Super Mario Land 2:6 Golden Coins, he was the final boss. That also was his first appearance in 1992.
Waluigi:
Waluigi Waluigi is Wario’s partner. His first game was Mario Tennis, 2000.
Toad:
Toad Toad is a mushroom in the Mario games. He is a citizen of Mushroom Kingdom and one of Peach’s servants. His first appearance was in Super Mario Bros., 1985.
