Basic Gymnastic Flips Chloe 6A

Hand Stand:

Hand Stand A Handstand is when you put your hands on the ground and try to balance while standing on them.

Back Hand-Spring:

Back Hand-Spring A Back Hand-Spring is when you flip backwards and put your hands on the ground while you flip. You try to land on your feet.

Back Tuck:

Back Tuck A Back Tuck is when you flip in the air backwards and tuck your legs.

Cartwheel:

Cartwheel A Cartwheel is when you flip on your hands in a pinwheel motion.

Back Bend:

Back Bend A Back Bend is when you bend backwards and put your hands on the ground. This is also called a “Bridge”.

Half:

Half A Half is a Back Tuck, but twist half-way in the air and land the opposite way.

Front Tuck:

Front Tuck A Front Tuck is when you run forward, jump in the air, lean forward, flip and tuck.

Full:

Full A Full is when you flip backwards, and make a full twist in the air. You land looking forward.
