It was established in 1788 by Arthur Phillip. The population of Sydney is 4,635,322. At Sydney there is lots of things to do like see all of the attractions, catch a ferry around the harbour, eat at the best restaurants and lots more. You can also enjoy the view of the harbour.Sydney Harbour Bridge: Sydney Harbour Bridge The Sydney Harbour Bridge took 6 years to build. It was opened on March 19 th 1932 by Premier Jack Lang. The bridge is the world’s biggest steel arch bridge, but not the longest. The top of the bridge is 134 meters above the water. The Sydney locals call it the ‘ Coathanger ’.Sydney Opera House: Sydney Opera House The Sydney Opera House is one of Australia’s best known land marks. The Opera House has about 1000 rooms, including five theatres, five rehearsal studios, two main halls, four restaurants, six bars and souvenir shops. The roof of the Opera House is made of 1,056,000 glazed white tiles. ‘Luna Park: Luna Park Luna Park is a place where there is lots of fun rides to go on. Luna Park first opened in 1935 and has now become famous around Australia. In 2004 a different person bought Luna Park and reopened it. When you enter Luna Park you walk through the mouth of a big face.Sydney Aquarium: Sydney Aquarium Sydney Aquarium is a public aquarium in Sydney. You can find it on the eastern side of Darling Harbour. The aquarium contains a large variety of Australia’s sea animals. It’s key exhibit is the glass tunnels where sharks swim above visitors, and you can take good photos of the sea animals.Sydney Wildlife Park: Sydney Wildlife Park The Sydney Wildlife Park opened in September 2006. It is located in Darling Harbour, near the city centre, beside the Sydney Aquarium. They started building in November 2004 and finished in August 2006. Some of the exhibits include butterflies, reptiles, koalas, nocturnal animals, wallabies and more.Sydney Centre Point Tower: Sydney Centre Point Tower The Sydney Tower is one of Sydney’s most known landmarks.
