Finnder buys emission reductions The present objective of the Finnish Government is to procure 10 million tonnes of emission reductions by 2012.
Finnder is a procurement programme of the Finnish Goverment for emission reductions from JI and CDM projects
Finnder = Finnish Drive for Emission Reductions by Kyoto Mechanisms
Finnder is an extension to the Finnish JI and CDM Pilot Programme operative 2000-2006.

Technical support for PDD development
Up-front payments up to 50%
Taking care of the validation, registration and verification procedures and fees
Possible financing through cooperation with a finance institution
Possibility to cooperate with other buyers
Finnder criteria:
Finnder criteria Minimum of 250 000 tonnes of emission reductions by 2012
No preferred project category or technology
All countries that have ratified Kyoto are eligible
Main selection criteria are risk and price
