Higher Education Law Basic Requirements Regulations for the System of accumulation and transfer of credits (September 2004 ). The system is based on 60 credits for a school year or 30 credits for one semester (as in the ECTS), allocated by subjects, according to the study plan of the speciality. State requirements Regulations for the contents of the basic documents, issued by the higher schools in Bulgaria; A European diploma supplement is issued as a supplement to the original diploma and does not substitute the official Supplement to the Higher Education Diploma. The European Diploma supplement follows the model, developed by the European Commission, the European Council /UNESCO/CEPENS. PROGRAM ERASMUS ЕРАЗЪМ CREATION OF PROJECT SUGGESTIONS, AIMING AT: Joint development of study programs for tourism of the first, second and third level (bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s); Joint development of European modules of tourism, including specialized language modules; Projects, helping universities develop strategies for life long learning, and turn into “open education centers” for the region; Projects for virtual universities and development of virtual mobility as a supplement to or substitute of the physical mobility in addition to all other types of independent mobility; Evaluation of the best experience in the field of the European collaboration and support for the creation of European modules;

Leonardo Creation of project suggestions, aiming at: • Identifying and analysis of the tourist industry needs • Adaptation (and/or certification) of European, national, regional, local, and/or sector teaching systems and practices in the sphere of tourism; Creation of a network for professional education between the partners • Insuring the duration of activities of the network even after the end of the agreed period; • The suggestions should include a plan of expansion and attraction of new partners.
