Do count for financial aid credit requirements. May be satisfied by examination.

Writing Competency/Proficiency: 

Writing Competency/Proficiency 6 ENGL 201 College Composition: Analysis, Research, and Documentation Minimum grade of 2.0 required for graduation Prerequisites for ENGL 201: writing placement test (WPT) OR prior college courses OR AP tests ENGL 100 (passing grade) Fundamentals of English Composition (must be completed by 45 college credits.) ENGL 101 (2.0 minimum) College Composition: Exposition and Argumentation

Computer Literacy Competency: 

Computer Literacy Competency 7 Computer Literacy Exams I & II - each with scores of 80% or better. Prep courses offered are: CPLA 100 & 101 or CPLA 120 *CPLA Exam I and CPLA 100 are considered pre-university and must be completed by 45 college credits. Mathematics Competency/Proficiency 8 Completion of MATH 115 or its graduation equivalent (as determined by major) with 2.0 or better OR Placement into: MATH 161 Calculus I from Math Placement Test Prerequisites for college level mathematics courses are pre-university and must be completed by 45 college level credits: MATH 103 Basic Algebra MATH 104 Intermediate Algebra with 2.0 or better does not count in gpa or towards class standing
