Ganapati Upanishad :
Ganapati Upanishad The word Ganesha means lord of hosts. He is usually thought of as the son of Shiva and Parvati. He is usually depicted with four arms, which represent the four directions of space or the four elements — the god being the spirit or quintessence of these.
