Russia: a MAJOR Energy partner for Europe European oil: 25% from Russia European coal: 25% from Russia European gas: 25%-30% from Russia European power: 10% from Russia European nuclear fuel: 25% from Russia Its not a matter of natural gas only, main trade driver EC-RF is energy, Cooperation or even Partnership and Participation is KEY ! Both Russia and The Netherlands are exporters to the European market; good performance, reliability and ‘fuel of choice; natural gas’ are mutual points for RF and The Netherlands.

Structuring the business dialogue and combining Government-Industry: High Level Energy Steering Group (ESG), since 2004 (supported by IRT experts). Thematic groups energy dialogue executed in 2004/2005, reports ready (combined Government-Business action). Ongoing dialogue, by Government-to-Government discussions and Business-to-Business: BCC Business Coordination Council: High Level consultation to RF Government and Commission Enhance economic dialogue and cooperation between EU and Russia Generate, develop and present new joint business initiatives Align activities of leading business organizations on both sides Consulting the highest political levels RF-EC with entrepreneurs views
