Goals and Objectives To provide a forum for discussion of fire safety, codes, standards development, conformity assessment, and regulation between the United States and China that:
Addresses the role and authority of fire protection across relevant agencies and organizations
Discusses best practices in developing comprehensive and sound fire protection systems in a way that:
safeguards public safety
raises the degree of confidence in the integrity of products on the market; and
enhances trade of related goods and services
Identifies current and future challenges on which the United States and China could cooperate
