Project Objectives Target groups for all courses Present and future employees of social banks and financial organisations; Employees of conventional banks; Employees of social-ecological banks and microfinance institutions in developing nations; Interested people from other related fields.

Aims and Methods All courses will follow several principals: They are international; The spoken language will be English; Strong emphasis on practical application; Combination of teaching and independent study modules; Implementation in co-operation with established universities.

Educational challenges: 

Educational challenges Better understanding of the relationship between banking/finance and social/environmental issues; Development and phrase their own values, putting them into relation towards others (e.g. current monetary and economic theories, present practice); Learning about social banking (roots, values, approaches, methods, tools, impact); Understanding developments in mainstream banking; Managing a primarily values driven organisation.
