Here are some 3 sided shapes you might recognise. Naming 2D Shapes There are 4 different types of triangle for you to look out for… Equilateral triangles have 3 equal length sides and 3 equal angles. Isosceles triangles have 2 equal length sides and 2 equal angles. Right angled triangles have a right angle in them. Scalene triangles have no equal length sides and no equal angles Equilateral Isosceles Right Angled Scalene Slide3: Quadrilaterals are 4 sided shapes How many of these quadrilaterals can you name?
