After ABET’s (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) evaluation on Boğaziçi University Engineering Faculty in 1997 and 2004, contents and the level of the programs in the faculty were shown to be equivalent to the universities in USA and all departments were found to be in accordance with ABET standards.SUMMER TERM: SUMMER TERM Boğaziçi University offers opportunities to attend lectures of worldwide known Turkish and foreign faculty members in the summer term for 7 weeks long. The present building holds a total of 320,000 volumes in English, Turkish, French, German and other languages, which makes it one of the largest collections in the country.
