Habitat Located in East Africa very humid with grassy woodlands and open plains

Basic Facts:

Basic Facts 4 ½ feet tall and 500 to 600 pounds It is a mammal because it’s warm blooded, produces milk to feed young and gives birth to live offspring Zebras live in herds of 15,000 to 100,000, herds are made up of families


Food Zebras eat grasses and small plants Zebras find its food almost everywhere it goes Get food by using their soft, flexible lips to gather it, and use their sharp incisors to bite it off

Physical Adaptations:

Physical Adaptations Stripes - when going in herds so many stripes confuses predators Long legs - because if the predator is close, long legs makes it go fast so not to get eaten Keen senses - lets it know when predators are near

Behavioral Adaptations Migration because if it runs out of water or food it can migrate to a better area with more water and food
