And finally … Please join me in welcoming our guest speaker, Michael Taft Ph.D in Folklore and a Masters in Library Science Currently Head of the Archive of Folk Culture at the American Folklife Center, Library of Congress having previously worked as curator and archivist at a variety of institutions in North America including the Southern Folklike Collection at UNC His career includes significant experience in folklore fieldwork, research in African American Blues, and ethnographic archiving. Taft has published more than 100 articles, book chapters, and reviews, as well as authoring, co-authoring, or editing a number of books
