Cornea Assisted Tracking Concept: Use multiple camera mounted on a notebook/display to track users eye and face movements Triangulate between pupils and nose Issues: Implicit vs. Explicit interaction Mouse doesn’t track your eyes, until you press a key on the keyboard Clicking may be a key on the keyboard (reduce homing-time) Precision, Calibration, People with glasses, Viewing angle, Size of screen, Field of view. Idea #3: Non-virtual Communities : Idea #3: Non-virtual Communities Using technology to encourage in-person social interaction Concept: Reverse the trends for 'virtual communities' Use technology to facilitate 'real communities' Scenario #1: Visitors to CHI carrying wireless PDAs able to instantly lookup 'public' information about each other 'matching algorithm' based on users preferences to suggest who to meet. Idea #4: TenUI : Idea #4: TenUI Thought enhanced User-Interfaces Flow/Organization of information based on how each person thinks – personalized. Concept: Use an interface similar to Brain in order to organize not only thoughts, but email, calendar, contacts files Unified interface for: Outlook + Internet Explorer + Windows Explorer + IM + Photos? Idea #5: Blog/WIKI views : Idea #5: Blog/WIKI views Add personalized temporal views to Blogs/Wikis in order to make it easier in order to look at 'new' information Concept: Automated approach of collating and displaying information that is 'new-to-you' Another idea: Blogger + Sparrow + WebDAV Issues: Are Blogging/WIKIs etc popular enough to make it worthwhile?
