State Employees Charitable Contributions (SECC) Campaign: 

State Employees Charitable Contributions (SECC) Campaign What SECC is: Over 400 charitable agencies including United Way http://www.unt.edu/secc Overhead percentages for each organization provided (0% to 32%) Any contribution amount from $2/month or a one-time $2 gift. Hundreds of UNT faculty and staff members who “Choose to Care” Many Special “fun” activities (next slide) One “easy” to complete form (Strictly confidential!!) A ONE month campaign: October 1-31 ONLY Truly Voluntary! A County-wide and Texas State-wide campaign

2003 SECC Special Events Thanks to Many Special Fund raising events Celebrity Waiter Luncheon in Avesta – October 1 UNT SECC Faculty/Staff Cookbook ($10) – Oct 1-31 Change Buckets in the Residence Halls and Several Departments on Campus – Oct 1-31 “Hannah the Goat Around” -- Oct. 10 ESSC Silent Auction and Bake Sale – Oct 17 UNT/Sun Microsystems SECC 4th Annual Golf Tournament -- Oct. 20 SECC College of Music Benefit Concert – Oct 28 SECC/Union Halloween Contest – Oct 31 2002 Special Fund Raising Events $15,558 up from $9,553 in 2001

2003 SECC Campaign Goals: 

2003 SECC Campaign Goals Let’s make 2003 even better! Even though times are tough! 2003 SECC Goals: 34% of all full-time faculty & staff $128,000 (2% more than last year’s goal) Actual: $143,000+ ? You will make the difference 2002 SECC was a great year! #1 Goal (met): 33% of full-time faculty and staff 831 donors (but down from 929 in 2001) #2 Goal: $125,000 Actual: $142,983!!
