The First Cargo by N.C. Wyeth Halfdan not only has to use his bow to fight with, but he must soon use his mind to fight with to survive. Shooting arrows at the enemy was one thing but fighting hand to hand was another thing. After being in front of the main Viking Chieftain a couple of times to defend his actions Halfdan saves his life. Halfdan then earns the name of Strongbow.
Slide4:
Viking raiding party landing by Vikings During a raiding party Halfdan had captured a prisoner that he found out that was not wanted for anything but as a reputation. After earning the ransom for her he now had to come up with a way to challenge one of Toke’s men that was part of another viking raiding ship. Battle after battle Halfdan had to remain alive to find his brother’s killers while in a faraway land.

And lawless, keeping half a step in front of his companion .. By N. C. Wyeth Due to his skill in the woods Halfdan was selected to clear the way for the Viking war party. This battle was to be the main winner take all battle so there could be no mistakes. Halfdan had to become one with the forest to find the enemy scouts and take care of them before they took care of him.

Stamford by Peter Nicolai Arbo Soon Halfdan would be in the fight of his life. He is so tired of constantly fighting for his life and the people he has pledged to protect. He was wondering if his vengeance was worth all of this death or even his own death?
