Ethanol and Food Supply One bushel of corn can provide: 32 pounds of starch 33 pounds of sweetener 2.8 gallons of ethanol AND 13.5 pounds of feed 2.6 pounds of meal 1.6 pounds of corn oil

Biodiesel and Food Supply : 

Biodiesel and Food Supply 1 gallon of biodiesel = 4 gallons of livestock feed Livestock and poultry consume 95 percent of all soybean meal. Only soybean oil is used to produce biodiesel.

Affordable : 

Affordable U.S. consumers spend less than 10% of their disposable income on food

Farm Value : 

Farm Value Farm value accounts for only 19¢ of every food dollar. The remaining 81 cents is wrapped up in processing, packaging, transportation, marketing and other inputs.

Missouri Soy Biodiesel 10 biodiesel plants with production capacity of 150 million gallons 1 gallon biodiesel = 30 lbs of soybean meal 4.5 billion pounds of soybean meal in 2008
