SUNSET WEST SHOPPING CENTER: 

SUNSET WEST SHOPPING CENTER Here is the anchor store at the north end of the building. It is a Japanese restaurant. Program Summary: The program for this project was the exterior remodeling to this shopping center. Program Statement: This building dates from the 1950’s. The shopping center looked very dilapidated and ugly. See “Before” photos below. The idea we proposed entailed changing the roofs and encasing the steel columns in a precast concrete material.

CENTER This is a view of the entrance to J.P. Morgan Chase Bank which has been remodeled. SHOPPING SUNSET WEST Building Area: (S.F.) Approx. 7,000 S.F. of new covered walkway roof and ceiling, new precast columns, and new lighting. Cost: Approx. $250,000 Date of Completion: 2011

SUNSET WEST: 

SUNSET WEST Sunset West Shopping Center is a neighborhood shopping center which includes a large chain grocery store, Winn Dixie, and many smaller stores and service centers, such as J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. The task was to produce a more attractive façade which would make the center more appealing to new tenants. On the corner of two well-traveled streets, Galloway Road (SW 87 th Avenue) and Sunset Drive (SW 72 nd Street), the center is now an additional attraction to the established neighborhood in Miami.
