Overview and explanation
Program “K” allows the User to input design information data to size a pipe and returns the designed pipe size in inches and allow the User to select the next standard pipe size.

WARNING: Do not remove the batteries for more than two minutes or use the “CLEAR” “ALL” function or the programs in the calculator will be destroyed. Please read the first two pages of the manual that comes with the pre-programmed calculator before attempting to operate it.

“Q” - the discharge flow rate volume expressed in cubic feet per second
“S” - the slope of the pipe
“N” - Manning’s Roughness Coefficient

Press the “XEQ” button
Press the alpha key “K”
Press the “ENTER” key
The program will begin asking for the variables discussed on the previous page
After all variables are entered the value for the diameter of the pipe in inches is displayed
To move through the queries and displays press “R/S” to move to the next item
