Overview and explanation
Program “J” allows the User to input runoff data and returns a value for “Q”.

WARNING: Do not remove the batteries for more than two minutes or use the “CLEAR” “ALL” function or the programs in the calculator will be destroyed. Please read the first two pages of the manual that comes with the pre-programmed calculator before attempting to operate it.

Input utilizes three variables:
“C” – The “Rational Method Coefficient”
“I” – The intensity of rainfall for the selected area
“A” – The area of the drainage watershed

Press the “XEQ” button
Press the alpha key “J”
Press the “ENTER” key
The program will begin asking for the variables discussed on the previous page
After all variables are entered the value for “Q” is displayed
To move through the queries and displays press “R/S” to move to the next item
