The LSS Miracle Software for the HP 35s Calculator This program allows the User to convert Bearings to Azimuths and vice versa. The following protocol is used to enter bearings:
“1" is used to denominate the Northeast Quadrant;
“2" is used to denominate the Southeast Quadrant;
“3" is used to denominate the Southwest Quadrant; and
“4" is used to denominate the Northwest Quadrant.
User is prompted to enter the quadrant as variable “Q”. In the event that input is to be an azimuth, enter “0" (the default) for the “Q” argument.
Use the “R/S” button to move to next argument.

The LSS Miracle Software for the HP 35s Calculator In the event that the “Q” variable is non-zero, User is prompted to enter the numeric value of the bearing in HMS format in variable “B” (example: 89 23'12"” is entered as “89.2312").
Use the “R/S” button to move to view the results of the conversion as follows:
“A” is published as the numeric value of the azimuth in HMS format.
Use the “R/S” button to move to next argument.
“Q” is published as the quadrant.
Use the “R/S” button to move to next argument.
“B” is published as the numeric value of the bearing in HMS format.
Use the “R/S” button to move to next argument.
