Slide 7:

Count Weeks and Days- Pentecost and Daniel 70 th Week Counting The weeks and days in Daniel is how you count the Omer which leads up to Pentecost ·1 week equals a period of 7 days · Daniel is the most detailed prophecy given about Jesus first coming and his second coming given a time frame. · 7x7 = 49 day 50 is Pentecost. 50 = Jubilee or deliverance and perfect consummation of time. · Pentecost day 50 God gave law and consummated delivered Israelites, the Holy Spirit was given, resulting in a consummation in the upper- room, 2000 years ago…until today!

Slide 8:

Counting the Omer – Feast of Firstfruits to Pentecost Conclusion of day 50 similar to a wedding, feasting, dressing in white, sweet deserts, decorating with flowers. 50 = consummation, the Webster’s definition is a marriage, and fulfillment and end . · Daniels 9:24 to “make an end” is defined by the word consummation. The Counting of the Omer which ends on day 50 Pentecost brings in consummation a marriage fulfillment. The bride could be raptured before Pentecost, but the consummation of the marriage may not happen until day 50.

Lesson From the Fig Tree Jesus said, not one generation shall pass from the time the fig tree becomes tender. N ot one generation shall pass: generation said and confirmed by King David is 70 Years. Mathew 24: 32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree(Israel): As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come ou t, you know that summer is near. ( harvest time). 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it[d]is near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation[e] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened .

Slide 12:

How do we know Israel represents the Fig Tree? How can we be certain?

Slide 13:

The Fig Tree After the Triumphal Entry Triumphal Entry- Mar 11:9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord: The Fig Tree Represents Israel :He came looking happily for fruit, but none was found. Mar 11:13 -14 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not [yet] .(fig/Israel had not produced fruit) Jesus curses the Fig Tree: And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard [it]. This cursing the fig tree parallel Jesus prophecy concerning the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD

Slide 14:

The Fig Tree Cursed- Temple Cleared Out Mark 11:15 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, 16 and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. 17 And as he taught them, he said, "Is it not written: " 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations'[c]? But you have made it 'a den of robbers.'[d]" 18 The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching. 19 When evening came, they[e] went out of the city.

Slide 15:

The Fig Tree Withered Following the cleansing of the temple Mark 11:20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. Fig Tree Cursed, withered : 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!" Confirming w itness in Scripture: Prophesied, NO FRUIT : Jeremiah 8: 13 I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree , and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

Slide 16:

Fig Tree Symbolic of Israel’s Covering The Fig Tree is symbolic of Israel The fig tree was used as a covering: In the Old Testament, the fig tree is the third tree to be mentioned by its name. The first is the Tree of Life and the second is the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve used the leaves of the fig tree to sew garments for themselves when they realized they were naked. ISRAEL Live in safety under his vine and fig tree: In 1 Kings 4:25 it was listed as a great accomplishment: During Solomon's lifetime Judah and Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, lived in safety, each man under his own vine and fig tree

Slide 17:

Knowing This Thy Day Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things [which belong] unto thy peac e! but now they are hid from thine eyes. Luke 19:42 The fig tree in the Olivet discourse: Fig Tree, Summer is near. Ripe Fig Tree = The Kingdom of God will be at hand Jesus cursed the fig tree. ...Because they did not recognize “this thy day” and when the fig tree puts forth leaves one can tell the summer has arrived.... and the kingdom of GOD is at hand! And...Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen. The generation ( 70)
