I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets. Hosea 12:10 The 14 Clues Study is based on similitude's, patterns and models found in Scripture. (Hosea 12:10 verifies similitude's as prophecy.) Similitude's are : Allegories, analogies, metaphors, similes, similitude's , parables, synecdoches , anagrams, acrostics, types…and over 200 other types of similitude's! Slide 13:

Making of the Loaf of Barley 1. Month 1 16/17 Following day after the Sabbath Passover, Priest and People gathered in Jerusalem's sanctified barley fields. 2. Barley sheaf's were carried by priest back to the Holy Temple 3. Priest would sift the barley through 13 sieves 4. Like the High Priest in the Temple, Jesus is our HIGH PRIEST! 4. Priest would beat and roast barley into a coarse meal 5. Pan lifted by the priest before the alter, frankincense, and olive oil were added 6. Priest carried the pan of prepared barley to the corner alter and wave the Omer before God. 7. Priest would then proceed to the southwest corner of the altar, and present the Omer offering there

Slide 14:

8. Finally, the priest would ascend to the altar, where he would scoop out a handful of the Omer grain, and drop it into the altar fire. 9. This was followed by the bringing of a single male lamb offering, as a burnt-offering . 10. From this point on, barley from the new harvest could be consumed by all. 11. The remaining grain that had been brought up to the Holy Temple by the priests would then be eaten by the priests. 12. The marketplaces of Jerusalem, in anticipation of this moment, were already laden with grain products 13. The an Omer of Barley is lifted up waved and counted for 49 Days..All eyes are on the barley! 14 Day 50 Pentecost, 50= consummation, Webster’s likens it to a Marriage . Focus changes to the Leavened twin wheat loaves.

Slide 21:

The Measure of the Barley a Double Portion For the Same Price Two Measures of Barley to One Measure of flour: Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time [shall] a measure of fine flour [be sold] for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel , in the gate of Samaria. 2 kings 7:1 In the scriptures that the price paid for wheat and barley is the same. Just like barley and the flour are the same price, a double portion is given for the Barley. What does this mean? SAME PRICE WAS PAID : Just like the barely and flour, the shekel ( price paid) the same. There is a greater measure given, A double portion for the barley , the barley is a multiplied measure. In the scriptures the price paid for wheat and barley is the same, just as the price paid by Christ is the same for all. But a double portion, a multiplied measure is in the barley!

Slide 22:

Barley is the Measure of Man and Women The value of man is set at 50 shekels of silver for a man: The number fifty is the number of jubilee or deliverance consummation. It is the issue of 7 x 7 (49), and points to deliverance and rest following on as the result of the perfect consummation of time. And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. Lev 27:3 And for a women that has been spoiled by a man 50 Shekels: Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty [shekels] of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. Deu 22:2 9 THE ESTIMATION OF A SEED OF BARLEY FOR A FIELD : And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD [some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed [shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver. Lev 27:16 ALL SHOULD BE FIRSTFRUITS ! But not all are . The seed for the barley field is the same as the price paid for a man or women. The cost is the same ( Jesus paid the same price for all) but the barley has in 2 kings 7:1 a double portion given, and in Revelations 6:6 it has a triple portion given

Slide 23:

A TRIPLE PORTION GIVEN FOR THE BARLEY! And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny ; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev 6:6 Why? Something is different… What? The barley has one more measured portion added, because of the union of the Bride and Groom! The barley represents the Bride! The price of the wheat has stayed the same, the barley represents the Bride of Christ, Jesus represents the barley Firstfruit , both now one. The bride has become that loaf of barley In Book of Revelation One More Measure is Added to the Barley 2 m easures of b arley (to 1 wheat) + 1 new measure _________ 3 measures barley

Slide 28:

Jdg 6:11 And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which [was] in Ophrah , that [pertained] unto Joash the Abiezrite : and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide [it] from the Midianites . Firstfruits (barley) Gideon threshed wheat! Hid it from the enemy. Jdg 6:16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man. Smite the enemies, Midianites , as ONE MAN! One Corporate body! Jdg 6:19 And Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought [it] out unto him under the oak, and presented [it] Gideon offered up a kid, and an unleavened cake ( loaf of barley)

Slide 29:

God Narrows the army of Israel down to 300 hand-selected men. GOD WANTS THE VICTORY TO BELONG TO HIM: Judges 7: 2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. LET THE FEARFUL LEAVE : 3 Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. GOD TRIES THE MEN AT THE WATER: 4 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: 5 So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth , him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink . 6 And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth , were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water

Slide 30:

THE DREAM: DELIVERED BY A LOAF OF BARLEY THE ENEMY WAS AS THE SAND OF THE SEA: Judges 7: 12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude. THE DREAM OF THE LOAF OF BARLEY 13 And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian , and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along . GIDEON WORSHIPED AFTER HE HEARD THE INTERPRETATION OF DREAM : 15 And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian .

Slide 31:

BY THESE 300 MEN WILL I SAVE YOU As One Man One Loaf of Barley! Judges 7:6 And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers . 7And the LORD said unto Gideon , By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.

Slide 32:

Blowing Trumpets and Breaking Pitchers 19 Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands. 20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. Blowing of Trumpets- Right hand ( victorious) Breaking of Pitchers- earthen vessels, must be broken-(Christ /bride) Holding lamps – Types (oil wise virgins) left hand Cried “sword of the Lord and of Gideon- Fought as one man! THE LORD SET EVERY MANS SWORD AGAINST HIS FELLOW : 22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath , and to the border of Abelmeholah , unto Tabbath .

Slide 34:

Firstfruits , Chosen Vessels for the Lord: Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour , and another unto dishonour . And…. 2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour , sanctified, and meet for the master's use, [and] prepared unto every good work. Broken: Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. Broken: 1Cr 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me LAMPS : Mat 25:1 ¶ Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. Mat 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps .

Slide 35:

Gideon and the 300 represent the corporate body of Victorious overcomers hand selected by God. Each of the 300 men were firstfruits , they carried in their hands a similitude An analogy for their character type, typified of the character traits of a firstfruits , w hich are chosen set apart, and sanctified vessels used for His honor. Broken vessels upon the rock of Christ Jesus, and continues to partake in the brokenness of the body of Christ, in their own lives as well as through the breaking of bread of Christ body, which is the unleavened loaf of barley, which was also broken and multiplied upon all who choose to partake in his brokenness suffering and resurrection. Because of his brokenness we were given a promise of the indwelling of the holy spirit, which becomes the lamp and light to the world… which we as firstfruits continue to keep the oil and lamps burning . Gideon's 300 were who moved as if ONE MAN, one loaf of barley that overthrew the enemies of God and Israel… with voices and trumpets lifted to HIM! The battle and victory belongs to HIM!

Slide 36:

The Loaf of Barley Multiplied to Feed the Hungry Souls and to Overthrow the Enemies that Come Against Israel… Tribulation Gideon types/ loaf of barley are the firstfruit overcomers who will inherit the promise of God at His Coming. The Firstfruits - loaf of barley will be the corporate body of firstfruits that will help not only help feed those in the wilderness, as a multiplied loaf in the masters hands, but will also be as one man and defeat the armies against Israel and Gods people. The manner in which Gideon's army defeated the enemy gives the firstfruit Bride a glimpse of the kind of warfare they may be doing during the tribulation. ( In Songs 2, warfare is mentioned, see Songs 2 studies or slide presentation)
