What Is Energy? Energy is the ability to do work and the power to change things. Also, energy is the power to change things in matter.

W h a t I s W i n d E n e r g y ? Wind power is Wind Energy changing into another form of power , such as working wind mills for mechanical energy, wind turbines to create electricity.

How Does Wind Energy Effect Our World? Wind energy makes things move around us. Look up at the sky. Look out the window. Energy causes something that is still to move.

How Does Wind Energy Effect Our World If we make wind energy more of a major contribution to the world’s electricity, and up the percentage to around 35-40%, along with other sustainable sources of energy such as solar and hydro, we could help stop climate change altogether!

What Effect Does Energy Have  On Our World:

What Effect Does Energy Have  On Our World One way energy effects our world is tsunamis. Tsunamis can have waves that are 5 feet high but be 200 miles long so when it hits some thing the water keeps on going. Another way that energy effects our world is bye earthquakes earthquakes happen when the earths plates move.

Wind changes to other forms of energy by using turbines to make electricity. This is used for light energy and heat energy.:

How Does Wind Energy Turn Into A different Kind Of  Energy When wind is blowing in the air really hard it makes a whistling sound. The wind energy transforms into sound energy.

What Effect Does Energy Have  On Our  World:

W h a t E f f e c t D o e s E n e r g y H a v e O n O u r W o r l d Another way that energy effects our world is by volcanoes . Volcanoes shoot out hot rock called magma and ash. Wind blows ash into the air, causing pollution.

Wind helps birds fly. Wind blows seeds from flowers around the world. Wind energy could blow things that are in the ground and somethings can get in your eye. How Is Wind Energy Good?

Bad Effects of Wind Wind can effect the world in a bad way. A sandstorm occurs in a desert, when wind pushes a lot of sand across the desert. A tornado is high and low pressure wind spinning around at stunning speeds.  Typhoons and hurricanes are many different wind blowing at the same place and time. They are the same thing, except typhoons occur in the northwest pacific ocean west of the dateline, while hurricanes occur east.
