Slide 31:

Police Department “On August 29, my car was parked at the train station and when I returned from Philadelphia the car would not start. Officer Oropeza, while on patrol, saw me and inquired what was wrong and immediately offered his assistance. He returned shortly with a power pack and with his assistance, I was soon on my way. Officer Oropeza is a credit to your Department and to the Borough of Lansdale. He is very professional and courteous and without his help, I would have had a very long night. Investing in Lansdale is like investing in your home. You provide necessary infrastructure maintenance and improvements… …so must the Borough of Lansdale. You anticipate and plan ahead for unforeseen situations… Borough of Lansdale Proposed 2012 Budget

Our home with necessary investments… …and without. Borough of Lansdale Proposed 2012 Budget

Slide 46:

Included in the 2012 budget are what we call small “c” capital items that are not funded from bond proceeds. The total of these items is less than past years due to the 2010 General Obligation Bond. By making major and long overdue improvements to our assets, we are eliminating the band-aid and hope it works approach. Borough of Lansdale Proposed 2012 Budget

Slide 47:

Ultimately we save time for our employees who were far too engaged in constantly fixing equipment and infrastructure that was not working properly. Time is money, as are short term fixes. This approach not only saves time and money it assures that our infrastructure is, indeed, working properly. Borough of Lansdale Proposed 2012 Budget
