Definition of Mentor and Mentoring : 

Definition of Mentor and Mentoring Mentor: The Merriam-Webster WWWebster Dictionary defines a mentor as "a trusted counselor or guide." Mentoring: a sustained, close, developmental relationship between an older, more experienced individual and a younger person, with the goal of building character and competence on the part of the protege. [1]

Types of Mentoring in Schools : 

Types of Mentoring in Schools “Academic” mentoring from teachers to students. “Spiritual” mentoring from consular and all staff to students. “Professional” mentoring from mentor teachers to novice teachers. “Professional” mentoring from specialist teachers to all faculty. “Professional” mentoring from teacher leaders to all faculty.

Ways to Implement Mentoring in Our School : 

Ways to Implement Mentoring in Our School Start up a “academic” mentoring program that students can get help from various teachers. Hire highly qualified consular. Every novice teacher need be assigned a mentor. The specialist should automatically be a mentor whenever a new technology is introduced. Teacher leaders need be recognized.
