Auditory leaner is one that learns best when hearing information about a subject and is able to retain it - Such as a speech, music, verbal lectures Population : Population Normally 20-30% of the public education is an auditory learner - The other 70-80% is a mixture of visual and tactile/kinesthetic learners: Knowing if you’re an Auditory learner : Knowing if you’re an Auditory learner - You enjoy talking excessively - Talk to yourself - Remember very well - Very hard to concentrate when noise in the background Continued : Continued - Reads slower then normal - Does not really follow written directions very well - Talks about something to remember it These are just some of the signs that show you relate to being an auditory learner Although, the intensity differs from person to person on how much they depend on those techniques continued : continued - Sings or hums to themselves often - Like to be among other people and interact with them as well - Likes to tell something, such as directions or jokes Benefits of being an auditory learner : Benefits of being an auditory learner You can befit from meetings and group discussions more Able to connect more details together during a speech Are normally well spoken person Drawbacks : Drawbacks Auditory learners are normally not the best at reading Normally have problems with writing Not every good with there grammar Behind the brian : Behind the brian The reason why you are able to learn from listing is the connections in the brain are linked to certain receptors that allow you to translate the content into something you understand. So when you hear something you are making references with it to something you already know in you mind. Repetition in learning : Repetition in learning With anything if you continue to repeat it you will learn it. Repetition is key in learning even for an auditory learner they need repetition of the subject in order to remember it fully You can learn to be an auditory learner it just takes time for you to build up the connections to your brain to allow you to learn that way.
