Passage from one form, state, style, or place to another. 2.conversion: an event that results in a transformation 3. passage: the act of passing from one state or place to the next Why do we need Transiton? : Why do we need Transiton? The success of every relay team lies on how fast the team members can run and more importantly, how efficient the baton exchange process is. The most important part of the race is passing the baton. Same in AIESEC Transition. : Same in AIESEC Transition. Transition happens basically to prepare the elect for their role and to help current evaluate their term. For currents to pass on their legacy and to bring the elect up to speed in their role. To create a seamless transfer of history. To set up the elect for a more succesful term We are only as good as our transition : We are only as good as our transition Keep in mind the essentials : Keep in mind the essentials Preparation Do you remember how our own transition was? Even if you are at the end of your term, you should put efforts into a good transition, in order to prepare the new team in the best way. Continuity…. : Continuity…. Transition means recognizing that your term is a link between the past and the future of the organization. Transition ensures that the efforts of subsequent teams build on the results of the present and so leads to growth and continuity. It is one of the most important periods in each year and is the appropriate way to conclude one term and begin the next. Doing Transition : Doing Transition Evaluation/Feedback Preparation : Preparation Preparation during the term (outgoing team). Understanding the importance of transition (both teams). Develop an understanding of the transition system (both teams). Evaluation of the year (outgoing team). Delivery : Delivery Transition (team to team, one to one, one to team, etc.). What are the most effective methods of delivery – adjust them to the goals. Check on every MC meeting how the transition is going Organize the meeting with alumni and externals to pass the contacts Pass all the documents! Coaching : Coaching Use mentoring or coaching as a way to support your successor Offer your help in moments, which were the toughest in your term Give constant feedback.
