Number Values Review Every number represents the a value of what the number is. This is very important to know for using addition and subtraction because you must know how much a number represents in order to do add or subtract the number For example: 1 represents * 2 represents * * 3 represents * * * 4 represents * * * *

Addition Review : 

Addition Review Addition is when you add up numbers together. The addition symbol is +. When you see this symbols you know thats when you need to add the numbers. Examples 1+1=2 You are adding 1 plus 1 which equals 2. 5+4=9 You are adding 5 plus 4 which equals 9. 3+7=10 You are adding 3 plus 7 which equals 10. 9+6=15 You are adding 9 plus 6 which equals 15. Subtraction Review Subtraction is when you minus 2 or more numbers. The subtraction symbol is - . When you see this symbol you know that is when you subtract the number. In subtraction you are taking away rather than adding.
