Dear Santa,
When I was a little girl, I had a friend. She was with me always at home, in school and even when I would go see granny. But I don’t see her anymore. My brother says there is no friend it was my imagination. I don’t know the meaning imagination. My teacher says it means not real. But she was real. Mom says she was my angel. Angels go away when you grow up. But I am not big. I still can’t reach the cookie cupboard and am not allowed sleepovers. Can you please bring her back to me?
Love,
Julia
Slide 3:
Dear Santa,
You asked me last year to befriend someone that needs a friend. I made friends with Rene, she is in class 2C. I don’t know why no one talks to her. But I do, we even made a tree decoration together. She has a little kitten too. My mom says I will get one too next year. Santa can you tell mom to get me a kitten this year. Also I want a pair of red boots for me, same like Josie has and pants to go with red boots for Josie.
Love,
Julia
P.S. Rene was my best friend till high school. We are still in touch.
Slide 4:
Dear Santa,
I am writing this letter for Gus, who is 2 year old now. He says: I love sitting inside the protective screen of the fireplace to keep warm and watch the fire burn. I am a big dog now of 44 lbs, travel extensively, get treats every day and play all day long. I just want you to know, I am in dog heaven. Mom, Dad, Jim and specially Julia love me so much. It will be even better if you send a brother or a sister for me.
Love,
Gus
Santa, please send a brother or sister for Gus. Julia
P.S. Gus died when I was 10. I still feel his presence in our old house.
Slide 5:
Dear Santa,Yesterday we had our first real snow. Gus, I and my brother we played in it together all day long. Gus was so happy getting his paws wet. Mom made hot cocoa, ginger bread, and s’mores. We made ginger bread houses too. Later Dad took us to buy some more decorations for the Christmas tree. In the evening, we all sat down together by the fire place and ate Pizza. Then later in the night Mom read us my favourite bed time story. Santa can you make every day like this? Mom says it will be so boring if everyday will be the same. But its okay with me, I will not get bored.
Love,Julia

Some wishes were granted and some were left to my imagination. Love you mom for bringing my childhood back to me.
