Assimiliation : based solely in Anglo (or Euro)-American society’s values, knowledge, belief system of dominance and inferiority Immersion in own culture : Grounded in values, attitudes, beliefs, traditions of own ethnic group often to the disregard of others Transcendence: Cultural pluralist expressing common respect, understanding and sensitivity of all cultures.
