They eat insects and bugs. Its size is 12 to 15 inches long. The chameleon’s tongue is one and a half times as long as its body. The chameleon turns red when it’s angry and gray when it’s frightened. Slide4: Camille The coyote mostly eats mice. It lives in North and Central America. It can be 28 -38 in. tall and weighs 25 to 33 pounds. But it can die of hunger in the winter when snow blocks the food!Slide5: Savana The praying mantis lives in North America and Southern Europe. Its diet is insects. The praying mantis is ½ to 3 inches long.Slide6: Samantha The koala lives in Southeastern Australia. Its weight is 11 to 26 pounds. The koala is 24 to 33 inches high. They live and sleep in the eucalyptus trees. Slide7: Nicholas Pigs are thought to be dirty and lazy, but they are not. There are three different kinds of pigs in the same species. Pigs are found on farms. They also live in the forest of warm regions.Slide8: Mollie A llama can have up to one baby a year. A baby llama is defenseless. The Giant Panda eats bamboo and sometimes meat. Giant Pandas weigh up to 330 pounds. Giant Pandas can be up to 5 feet tall and can be 6 feet long. The Giant Panda is the only animal on earth that eats bamboo.Slide10: Daniel This penguin is 35 to 37 in. tall. It has one egg a year. It is the 2nd tallest penguin ever. In one year this penguin is a fully grown adult.Slide11: Mary Beth The Polar Bear is 5 feet tall when it is standing up. They live in the arctic regions. The Polar Bear eats sea birds. The Polar Bear can smell prey 20 miles away. Slide12: Gwenyth The Siberian Tiger lives in northeastern China ,Korea, and Eastern Siberia. It can leap up to 13 feet. The Siberian Tiger eats deer ,wild pig badgers, elk, goats, and sometimes even bears.Slide13: Jack The sea otter lives on the coast of Alaska. It also lives in California. It begins to dive when it is two months old but stays near its mother for 6 to 8 months.Slide14: Matthew The Red Fox lives in Australia and North America. It lives in forests or tundra up to15,000 feet in altitude. Slide15: Ethan The Boa Constrictor is found in South and Central America . They are the longest living animal on earth. Their colors blend into the background of tree branches . A female Boa Constrictor can have up to sixty babies at a time.Slide16: Douglas A great white is 12 to 16 feet long. The biggest great white is 23 feet long and weighs about 7,000 pounds. Female sharks are bigger than male shark . Slide17: Kaleb The bison eats prairie grass. It can be 5 1/2 feet tall. The animal weighs up to one ton. The American bison lives in the United States and Canada.Slide18: Gregory The puma lives in North and South America. It eats deer, sheep, rodents, antelope, rabbits, and hares. The puma helps farmers by eating the animals that eat the crops the farmers grow.Slide19: Jackson Chimpanzees eat insects with sticks. Not all animals use tools. The Chimpanzee weighs 100 to 175 pounds.Slide20: Ayia The King Cobra is very active. The King Cobra eats other snakes. They live in Eurasia and North America . They eat deer, fish, crab, elk, and sheep . The Gray Wolf can be 175 pounds weight.Slide23: Karley The Gorilla lives in West and Central Africa. The Gorilla’s height is up to 6 feet. Its weight is up to 200 pounds for the female and 400 pounds for the male. The Gorilla eats mostly leaves and shoots. It lives in groups of 2 to 30.Slide24: Kevin The Nile Crocodile is 12 to 20 feet long. It eats birds, fish, and other reptiles and mammals. Slide25: Katie The black bear lives in North America. It weighs 200 to 600 pounds. Although they are classified as carnivores, black bears are actually omnivorous, eating many types of plant and animal material. Slide26: The horseshoe crab lives in America. You can also find them in the Gulf Coast of Mexico. The baby horseshoe crab can be up to 5 inches long . The mother horseshoe crab can be up to 24 inches long . Horseshoe crabs eat mollusks, worms, and, algae. In the 1900s, horseshoes were dried up for fertilizer.
