What if Martin Luther King Jr. was never shot:

What if Martin Luther King Jr. was never shot

Background :

Background Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15 th , 1929 He died on April 4 th , 1968 at the age of 39 He was assassinated at the 2 nd floor of the Lorraine motel i n Memphis, Tennessee

He would have become one of the greatest presidents of the United States:

He would have become one of the greatest presidents of the United States The previous peace candidate, Sen. Eugene McCarthy of Oregon immediately withdrew from the race and threw his support to Dr. King.  But Dr. King was another matter. He has always been a figure of rock-like integrity. I knew that if he were elected on a platform to end the Vietnam War, he would do it .” http://baltimorepostexaminer.com/martin-luther-king-jr-lived-become-one-greatest-presidents/2014/01/16

He would believe that Obama is a fulfillment of his dream but not the fulfillment of his dream:

He would believe that Obama is a fulfillment of his dream but not the fulfillment of his dream Dr. King would applaud President Obama’s stance on health care reform.  Dr. King is known to have once said that lack of access to health care is our biggest civil rights issue. Martin Luther King would unequivocally support universal health care reform. Health care was denied for over 31 million uninsured Americans, those adults and children with pre-existing conditions, victims of domestic abuse, and young adults is an injustice that must be fixed If Martin Luther King Jr. would see this he would be proud at what Obama did. http://www.legalspeaks.com/2011/04/what-if-martin-luther-king-waere-not-assassinated-on-april-4-1968/

Many other different things:

Many other different things Kids in 2 nd grade wrote about what would happen and I understood why they would say that If Dr. King were still alive he would be a minister trying to stop violence, maybe he would be on a talk show trying to help children get along and work together. Also he would try to stop all these bad gangs and all these bad killings. by Paul If Martin Luther King, Jr. was alive today he would be very involved in politics. He would also be very involved in the attacks of 9/11/01. He would be working to donate money to the charities. by Vincent All these violent things would cause him to take action http://www2.lhric.org/pocantico/taverna/98/whatif.htm

What would today be like?:

What would today be like? Today would have been dramatically changed because as of now there is still racism all over the world and if Martin Luther King Jr. was still alive he would have done better to stop that just like helping the segregation stop
