Introduction The Texas STaR chart was developed to assist districts, campuses, and teachers in determining their success in implementing the long-range plan for technology. The Texas STaR chart uses four areas for districts to check to see if they are meeting the necessary steps for implementation.

Comparing The Years: 2006-2007 HPMS was classified as Developing Tech in all areas. 2007-2008 HPMS was classified as Advanced Tech in all areas excluding one which was classified as Developing Tech. 2008-2009 HPMS was classified as Advanced Tech in all areas excluding one which was classified as Developing Tech.
