However there are some universities that attempt to maintain reasonable tuition rates to help law students reach their potential. With that being said here is a look at some of the most affordable law schools in the country. Rutgers Law School: The annual tuition is around 27000. The average student debt at graduation is around 55000. Rutgers Law School is one of the largest public law schools in the United States. Law students in the JD Program will study topics such as criminal law legal analysis and contracts. Georgia State University College of Law: The annual tuition is around 16000. The average student debt at graduation is 64000. The College of Law offers joint degree programs with other colleges at Georgia State University. The College of Law program offers study abroad programs throughout Europe and South America. The University of Wisconsin Law School: The annual tuition is around 21000.
